How long can I keep a dumpster?

Each dumpster can be booked for either 3 day or 1 week. Each additional day beyond these set booking time periods is $20 per day.

What items are allowed in the dumpsters?

How does delivery and pickup work?

Our driver will arrive within the agreed time window and place the dumpster in your preferred location, such as a driveway or job site. You don’t need to be present for delivery. When your rental period is over we’ll haul the dumpster away and properly dispose of the contents. If you need more time or an early pickup, just let us know. We’re happy to adjust your schedule whenever possible.

What payments methods do you take?

We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and online payments for your convenience.

How do I choose the right size?

Consider the volume and type of debris you’ll be disposing of. If you are unsure, call us for assistance.

What if I overfill the dumpster?

Overfilling may result in additional fees, and it’s unsafe for transport. Keep the load below the rim of the dumpster.

What happens if I exceed the weight limit?

Additional charges will occur if the weight is over the limit.

Do I need a permit to get a dumpster?

A permit may be required if the dumpster will be placed on a public street or sidewalk. Check with your local regulations.

Can I use a dumpster for yard waste?

Yes, you can use a dumpster for yard waste, but the dumpster needs to be used exclusively for organic vegetation and not mixed with other non-organic waste. Check with us for any specific guidelines.

What Can I put in The Dumpster?

Here’s a quick guide to help you understand what items can and cannot be placed in your dumpster rental. Minnesota has banned at least 20 items from being thrown in trash that goes to landfills.

Construction Debris

Includes drywall, carpeting, wood, tile, roofing shingles, and non-hazardous building materials from remodels or tear-outs.

furniture*

Includes couches, recliners, chairs, tables, dressers and nightstands, and other upholstered and non-upholstered furniture.

Non-Refrigerated Appliances*

Includes washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, microwaves and other small kitchen appliances along with drained water heaters.

Household Junk

Includes knick-knacks, decor, cardboard boxes, paper packaging, plastic wrap, bubble wrap, and foam packaging.

*Some materials, like upholstered furniture, appliances, and mattresses, may mostly be disposed of in a dumpster, although sometimes incurring extra fees. Acceptance of these items varies by location due to differing waste management regulations, which can even vary between counties. If you’re unsure, please call or text us at 651-308-2454 beforehand to confirm if there are extra charges for these items.

Not ALLOWED

Electronics

No computers, televisions, VCRs, DVDs and other electronics. Electronics must be recycled separately and cannot be placed in the dumpster.

Batteries, Light bulbs, & Tires

No car batteries, alkaline batteries, lithium batteries, rechargeable batteries, fluorescent bulbs, or tires.

Liquid Waste and Hazardous Waste

No paints, solvents, motor oil, lubricants, gasoline, petroleum, chemicals, pesticides, and any material labeled as toxic, flammable, or corrosive.

Freon Containing Items

No refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and other items that still contain freon or other refrigerants.

YARD WASTE*

Yard waste such as branches, shrubs, leaves, grass, and logs must be put in a separate dumpster and not mixed with other types of non-organic waste. Contact us so we can dispose it to the proper compost center.

*To avoid additional charges or rejected pickups, please don’t place prohibited items in your dumpster.
